Discoverè - is a feature-rich communications tool that uses VoIP, ["Voice over internet Protocol"] and is new to the Geraldton Universities Centre.

Holding an online meeting anywhere, anytime, has never been easier. You can conduct successful, interactive online meetings at the GUC! During your meeting you can stay productive by using a combination of audio, interactive white-board, file transfer, co-browse and streaming video features.

Discoverè is an unlimited computer-to-computer web conferencing application that allows people to talk to each other, send text messages, and see the same website or other presentations on their screens - from anywhere in the world. It's easy to use and secure.

eBeam

The eBeam Whiteboard System allows users to capture notes and drawings on the whiteboard and transfer the information to a Laptop.

With this latest technology at the GUC you can then email your notes and drawings from your meeting directly back to your office. Additionally you can print each page as handouts whilst you conduct your meeting.

This incredible piece of software makes meetings, presentations, classrooms and brainstorming sessions more efficient and much, much easier. The use of an interactive whiteboard also allows meeting to be conducted both in Australia and throughout the world.

Audio Visual Options

Our Conference and meeting rooms contain many of today's presentation requirements such as connection to the internet, data projectors, plus Laptop computers and other peripherals upon request.

Sound System

The Geraldton Universities Centre can provide an excellent PA System versatile for your Event or Conference held at the Centre. Our Yamaha speaker system is powered by a Yamaha EMX66m powered mixer with a Shure SM58 vocal microphone and stands.

The Yamaha EMX66m hosts additional features dual 300 Watt amplifiers capable of simultaneously driving house speakers or use one amplifier for driving monitors. It consists of microphone inputs, a graphic equalizer and built in effects processor.

Our Yamaha sound system provides superior sound quality and rejects noise caused from electromagnetic and radio frequencies.

Stage

Our custom built stage is made to be portable can can be placed anywhere within the centre. The stage is ideal for presentations and public speaking

Outdoor Seating

At the Geraldton Universities Centre we can provide up to 100 chairs for outdoor seating at your next event. Additional seating can be hired upon request.
