LIBRARY SERVICES - Geraldton Universities Centre

Library Services

There are a number of local library resources available to GUC students. Students are strongly encouraged to also access resources from their ‘parent university’ library.

The following library services and resources are available to all enrolled students and staff at GUC:

Central West TAFE LRTC (Learning Resource and Technology Centre) Curtin and ECU place resources in the CWTAFE LRTC. These are the primary resources for students studying at the GUC, and include required textbooks plus some additional resources.

The LRTC collection can be accessed via the CWTAFE online library catalogue at http://www.centralwest.wa.edu.au/learningresources/default.cfm

The LRTC also has access to licensed databases.

How do I join the LRTC?

Take your student ID card to the service desk and you will be registered as a borrower immediately. Please note that this card must indicate current enrolment.  Registration must be renewed each academic year with a current student ID card.
