Overview:
The course is designed to provide higher level knowledge, skills and
leadership for nurses specialising in the area of mental health.
Graduates will work in either the inpatient or community setting
providing a variety of specialist skills to meet the needs of mental
health consumers, their families, carers and the wider community.
The Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing provides pathways
to the Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and Masters and
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs.
Note:
Students may enrol in the Postgraduate Diploma in the first
instance.
