STUDENTS


A range of services and student support programs are offered at the GUC – from orientation and careers advice, study strategies, counselling and learning skills programs, to social activities – everything to ensure your needs are met.

If you are returning to study after a long break, allow yourself time to adjust. You may be anxious about whether you will be able to pass, or whether you can afford to study. Your concerns are normal.


Student Services


We provide support and assistance through the following services:


  • Career information and planning advice
    Child care information
    Counselling – confidential assistance with personal matters
    Course information for current and prospective students
    Disability support – providing a complete university experience through assistance and equity to students who have special needs
    Financial assistance – information about financial matters, including budgeting and scholarships
    GUC Alumni as part of Friends of the GUC
    Learning skills – study skills workshops are run on an occasional basis
    Orientation
