Studying in Geraldton

What sets the Geraldton Universities Centre apart is that it is the only university centre in the state that offers a range of courses from more than one university. Our participating universities include: Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University and the University of Western Australia.

Over seventy people have already graduated through courses at the Geraldton University Centre since we began in 2002.

At GUC you will be treated as a “person” not a “number” and your educational achievements will be enriched by the GUC experience, personal growth, and a network of friends that will stay with you for life.

  • You will graduate with a highly respected academic qualification from a leading Australian university.
  • You will be taught by quality academic staff who live and work locally.
  • You will benefit from small class sizes with personal attention and experience a unique lifestyle.
  • Students who study at GUC earn a respected degree and have enhanced employment and career prospects.

How are courses delivered?

The majority of courses at the GUC are offered face-to-face, whereby students attend lectures, tutorials and labs at the GUC. Some practical units are also offered at the CWTAFE campus where art studios, computer labs and nursing labs are set up.

Can I study part time?

Courses offered at GUC can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis. Refer to individual course brochures or contact the GUC for information about specific courses.
