University Preparation Course
Duration: 1 Semester FT or 1 year PT. Will be delivered subject
to sufficient numbers.
Availability: FT PT
Overview: The University Preparation Course (UPC) prepares
students for university level study by teaching the required
skills for academic success. The UPC is designed for school
leavers and mature age students. The UPC consists of four
compulsory units: learning at university; research and writing
processes; numeracy tools and accessing knowledge. Successful
completion of the UPC provides students with minimum entry to
most courses offered at GUC subject to subject prerequisites and
quotas.
