Courses

Engineering / Construction

Associate Degrees in Engineering (Civil) and Construction will be introduced in 2013 at the Geraldton Universities Centre following the signing of a new partnership with the University of Southern Queensland (USQ).

Both courses are two years full time or four years part time and provide significant credit into a Bachelor degree.

The Associate Degree in Engineering qualifies graduates to register as Engineering Officers with Engineers Australia while the Associate Degree in Construction provides the knowledge and skills for graduates to operate as construction management para-professionals.

The Associate degrees will be run by supported distance education meaning students will access online curriculum, lectures and resources from USQ while attending the GUC for a two hour tutorial in each unit each week.

Students require an ATAR of 65 or more or a relevant Certificate IV or Diploma to qualify for entry.
