Hollomby Foundation
The GUC’s Hollomby Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of tertiary education in our region. Named in honour of the late Joe Hollomby, the Foundation provides a central structure and means of administering financial support for the benefits of Mid West students and GUC programs and initiatives.

Your financial support of the Hollomby Foundation will:
• Help the GUC to grow courses to provide more choices and opportunities for Mid West people.
• Directly support students and their families.
• Provide a tangible and meaningful way of giving back to the community.
• Lead to a thriving university centre presence in Geraldton that will advance our community.
It is envisaged funds will be used for:
• Student prizes, scholarships and travel grants (for practical placements)
• Face-to-face tutors to ensure equitable learning experiences with Perth
• Funding additional student places to make course numbers viable
• Capital programs (eg fit out of a stage 2 building)
• Outreach programs and school based prizes that build aspirations in the young to go on to university
• Research grants
• Teaching and learning resources
