Bachelor of Science (Health Science, Health Promotion or Health, Safety & Environment)
Common First Year Units in Allied Health
Set yourself up for successful study and a career in Health with GUC in partnership with Curtin University.
GUC is calling for Expressions of Interest from potential local students. From 2021, GUC is working with Curtin University to potentially offer local face-to-face academic support for at least half the first year units common to a range of Curtin Health and Allied Health courses, opening up multiple options:
- Use this first year grounding to complete the entire Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Health Promotion or Health Safety & Environment in Geraldton, with GUC admin, pastoral and generic academic support all the way. (see links below for each of these courses)
- Complete first year in the above courses, and depending on your grades, use your results to open a pathway into Curtin University’s Allied Health courses in Perth including Speech Pathology, Exercise and Sports Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
- If you’ve already been accepted into one of these Allied Health programs, stay at home for an extra semester or year and make a start on your degree, with support, locally.
Express interest at the “Contact GUC button” and we will talk with you about which option is best for you.
