PD Short Courses
In consultation with the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pollinators, GUC provides professional development short courses with facilitator Jill McCrum of JEM Training.
Each session is highly interactive, providing practical tools and techniques to enable managers to excel. Places are limited to only 16 people per course to ensure maximum participation and relevance to participants own work situations and management challenges. Places fill fast so BE QUICK!

Facilitation Skills – Wednesday 23 October
Facilitation requires process, presence and the ability to gain the audience’s perspective. This program is designed to provide you with the specific skills necessary to effectively facilitate outcomes from preparation and creating a constructive environment through to the tools that will gain interaction, support decision making and handle any difficult situations.
Managing Poor Performance and ‘Difficult’ Behaviour – Wednesday 20 November
Poor performance and ‘difficult’ behaviour causes stress, bad feeling and loss of productivity. This program will help managers identify the contributing factors to poor performance and how to address them, as well as identifying different types of difficult behavior. It will equip you with the skills to be able to manage these issues so that a successful resolution can be achieved without damaging relationships with staff.
