PD Short Courses
In consultation with the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pollinators, GUC provides professional development short courses with facilitator Jill McCrum of JEM Training.
Each session is highly interactive, providing practical tools and techniques to enable managers to excel. Places are limited to only 16 people per course to ensure maximum participation and relevance to participants own work situations and management challenges. Places fill fast so BE QUICK!

Thursday 2 May 2019 – Having Difficult Conversations – ONLY 4 PLACES LEFT!
Some conversations are difficult to have and many people are unsure how to approach them. It may be with a client, a colleague or a staff member. This program will help you identify the tools necessary to ensure those conversations go smoothly, effectively and end on a high note irrespective of content.
Thursday 30 May 2019 – Manager to Leader
The transition from manager to leader can be a difficult one. What’s the difference between a manager and a leader? What skills do you need to develop? How do you know you’re doing the right things? This program will guide you towards being effective in your role as leader.
