PD Short Courses
In consultation with the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pollinators, GUC provides occasional professional development short courses with facilitator Jill McCrum of JEM Training.
Each session is highly interactive, providing practical tools and techniques to enable managers to excel. Places are limited to only 16 people per course to ensure maximum participation and relevance to participants own work situations and management challenges. The next two sessions are:

This high energy, fun workshop brings theory to life and provides meaningful insights and strategies for positive change so you’ll be communicating not only clearly and confidently, but with impact and authority.
Thursday 29 November FULL, Friday 7 December – Having Difficult Conversations
Some conversations are difficult to have and many people are unsure how to approach them. It may be with a client, a colleague or a staff member. This program will help you identify the tools necessary to ensure those conversations go smoothly, effectively and end on a high note irrespective of content.
