Professional Development Short Courses

Geraldton Universities Centre, in consultation with the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pollinators, is now offering professional development short courses to the business community.  Save the time and travel of sending management to Perth with these quality training options.

Facilitated by Jill McCrum of JEM Training, each session will be highly interactive, providing practical tools and techniques to enable managers to excel.  Places are limited to only 16 people per course to ensure maximum participation and relevance to your own work situations and management challenges.

The next short course being offered is:

Thursday 31 May – Managing poor performance / effective delegation
Managing poor performance aims to assist managers to get the best from their staff using an easy to remember and apply formula. It also provides a framework to directly identify and counter poor performance irrespective of the underlying cause. Effective Delegation explores some of the key principles of delegation and practical tips on how to delegate effectively.

Should sessions be oversubscribed, a second session may become available on the Friday.
