PD Short Courses
In consultation with the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pollinators, GUC provides professional development short courses with facilitator Jill McCrum of JEM Training.
Each session is highly interactive, providing practical tools and techniques to enable managers to excel. Places are limited to only 16 people per course to ensure maximum participation and relevance to participants own work situations and management challenges. Places fill fast so BE QUICK!

Managing Meetings/Time Management – Thursday August 8
We have a finite amount of time in our day to achieve as much is humanly possible. In this economic climate we are all working leaner and so the pressures to achieve more with our time are enormous. Meetings often eat up a lot of our time especially when they run over time, go round in circles, have no clear outcomes or actions. This workshop aims to provide guidance for organising and running effective meetings in addition to many other time management strategies to help you get more value from your day.
Managing Personalities – Thursday September 12
Managing personalities can be tough. We all have different personalities, and ways of interacting and behaving with others. This workshop provides a platform for better understanding ourselves and the styles and preferences of our staff so we can communicate and work more effectively together. This high energy, fun workshop brings theory to life and provides meaningful insights and strategies for positive change.
