At GUC we’ve developed a reputation for outstanding student support; academically, pastorally and administratively in our 10 mixed mode programs.
We understand however, that the aspirations of our community, don’t fall neatly into the courses we offer in mixed mode. That is why we have teamed up with our partners, CQUniversity and the University of Southern Queensland to now be able to support the full suite of their distance university courses with everything other than the tutorial or intensive block classes.
Study at GUC as a supported distance education student with access to:
GUC Administrative Support – including help with applications and enrolment
Orientation – meet peers, understand your online sites and become familiar with GUC facilities and services at your disposal
GUC facilities – study alone or with the network we help you to build with full access to laptops, wifi, library, printer/scanner
Academic Learning Services – attend writing, referencing and other general academic workshops and seek assistance where required
GUC Student Services – access to scholarships, learning plans and a range of supports including Aboriginal Student Support
Supported Electives – chose from mixed mode units with face-to-face tutorials at GUC to round out your program
Exam invigilation – supervised at GUC
Graduation – we’ll celebrate your achievement with your friends and family in our community
