University applications open for 2018 with two ways to study at GUC
You can now join 300 of your fellow community members as a local university student, with applications now open for study in 2018 at Geraldton Universities Centre.
In 2018 there will now be two ways in which you can study at university locally;
- Mixed-Mode Delivery – by taking courses in the familiar mode of study at GUC, or,
- Supported Distance Education – for all other university courses on offer through CQUniversity Australia.

Audio system improves tutorial access for remote students at GUC
Remote students are now able to fully contribute to GUC tutorials thanks to funding made available from the State Government’s Local Projects, Local Jobs program. New improved audio integration system technology has been installed in three of GUC’s classrooms providing top of the range access to web conferencing for remote students.

Advisory Committee established for Pilbara Universities Centre
Momentum for a Pilbara Universities Centre (PUC) is continuing to grow with a PUC Advisory Committee established following unanimous support at stakeholder and community meetings in Karratha at the end of July.
